We have a part of our garage that we call "the pit". It is filled to the brim with "things" accumulated over the years, old furniture, gadgets, you name it. I decided, one day, while attempting to clear a pathway (the picture on the right) through the pit, that I would transform each "thing" into "something" with which I could decorate our basement and other nooks and crannies. Upcylcing has been an interesting process. It is cathartic and fun, and I have learned to appreciate the art.
